If you or your family need food, clothing, housing support, job assistance, or help navigating a difficult situation, West Side Catholic Center is here for you. All services are free, offered with dignity, and available to anyone in need.


Our team will meet you where you are and help you take the next step toward safety, stability, and hope.

START HERE: HOW TO ACCESS SERVICES

Walk-In Services
(No Appointment Needed)

Available at the Resource Center:

  • Hot meals

  • Mailboxes and phone access

  • Day shelter hospitality

  • Advocacy and referrals
     

(Appointment Needed)

Available at the Resource Center:

  • Showers and hygiene support

  • Clothing appointments (scheduled in person)

  • Support with ID recovery, benefits, and more

If you're unsure where to start, just walk in—our staff will help you find the right service.

Housing & Shelter Access

For Moriah House and housing programs:

Once you're connected, WSCC staff will assist with next steps, planning, and support.

Employment Services Access

If you're interested in job training or employment support:


Call Workforce Development at

We will help you understand program
options and get started.

Family Support Access

Families can call for more information, or be referred by community partners.


A family coach will help you set goals and connect with programs that fit your needs.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do I need an appointment?

Most services do not require an appointment. Come as you are.

Do I need ID?

No.
And if you need help getting ID, we can assist you.

Does it cost anything?

Never. All WSCC services are completely free.

Who can receive services?

Anyone in need—individuals, families, seniors, youth, and veterans.

Can I bring my children?

Yes. Families are welcome in most programs.

How do I get into Moriah House?

You must contact Cuyahoga County Coordinated Intake first.

What if I don't know what I need?

Just come in. We'll help you figure it out.

Do I have to live in a certain area to receive help?

No. WSCC serves anyone seeking support.
