The West Side Catholic Center provides a holistic network of services that support individuals and families facing hunger, homelessness, unemployment, and crisis. Rooted in dignity, compassion, and trauma-informed care, our programs meet immediate needs while helping people build pathways toward stability and long-term self-sufficiency. Whether someone needs a hot meal, safe housing, job training, clothing, or family support, WSCC is here with open doors and a welcoming heart.
Nourishing our community with dignity and compassion.
WSCC provides two hot meals a day—six days a week— breakfast and lunch Monday through Friday, breakfast and dinner on Saturday. ​

Stable housing is life-changing. WSCC provides emergency shelter, transitional housing, and long-term support to help families move from crisis to safe, permanent housing.

Our Housing Programs
WSCC offers two primary housing programs designed to help families secure stability.
​
Moriah House – Family Shelter
Moriah House serves mothers, female veterans, and families experiencing homelessness or living in unsafe conditions. Many residents face challenges such as trauma, economic hardship, mental health needs, or limited employment.

Coordination with schools, health providers, and social services
Zacchaeus Housing Solutions (ZHS)
ZHS focuses on rapid re-housing and wraparound support to help families secure and maintain stable housing.
