Yes, I would like to donate now to the West Side Catholic Center

~ Grounded in faith, hope, love and respect for those we serve,
the West Side Catholic Center assists all who come in need of
food, clothing, shelter and advocacy. ~

~ 33% of Cleveland's residents and half of Cleveland's children live in poverty. The West Side Catholic Center offers hot meals, hospitality, clothing and household goods, emergency services, advocacy, a women and children's shelter, and a housing solutions program to those in need at no charge, regardless of religious affiliation.

~ T
he West Side Catholic Center was established in 1977 by several area churches that saw a critical need within the community due to extreme poverty. We are a unique, private, not-for-profit agency with Catholic roots, independent of the Catholic Diocese and Catholic Charities.

~ Our Programs respond to the needs of men, women, and children in Cleveland, regardless of their religious affiliation, and WSCC has no geographical limits on its service area. All services are provided free of charge. Collaborative partners include Allstate Barber College, AmeriCorps, Beech Brook, Care Alliance, Cornerstone of Hope, the Cuyahoga County Office on Homeless Services, Ignatian Spirituality Project, Ignatian Volunteer Corp, Jesuit Volunteer Corp, Learning for Life, Legal Aid Society of Cleveland, Murtis Taylor Mental Health Services, NewBridge, Ohio Benefit Bank, ORCA House, Recovery Resources, River's Edge, Saint Ignatius High School, Seeds of Literacy, State ID Collaborative, Tickets for Kids, WECO Fund, Inc., the Women's Center, and the Veterans Administration.

~ Community support includes partnerships with other food and emergency service providers, such as many other churches and faith-based organizations. We are a United Way Partner, member of the Cleveland Foodbank and we receive food donations from Harvest for Hunger, as well as deliveries of in-kind donations and grocery surplus from many businesses throughout Greater Cleveland.
